Filial Play Therapy CEU Workshop
On April 26th, 2008 @ 9:30am, The Kid Counselor, Brenna Hicks, will be presenting a Filial Play Therapy Continuing Educational Unit Workshop in Ft. Myers, FL at the Riverside Counseling Center.
This workshop is a basic introduction to Filial Therapy using Child Parent Relationship Training. An explanation of the definition, criteria, and procedures for Filial Therapy, illustrated with case examples and visual demonstrations.
Learning Objectives (one per 60 minutes of CE):
- Understand the basic constructs of Filial Therapy
- Have a working knowledge of the benefits of Filial Therapy
- Be able to identify appropriate populations for Filial Therapy
Brenna Hicks, M.A. is a Private Practice Children's Therapist in Safety Harbor, FL.
Brenna is also an Adjunct Professor at the University of South Florida.
She regularly publishes online articles and presents at workshops and seminars to help parents and people who work with children understand Play Therapy techniques.
