Of course, the answer is yes. Every parent would. All of the most common, preventable behavior problems in children originate with a breakdown in the Parent-Child Relationship.
The Kid Counselor offers a 10 week course, in an individual or group setting, that teaches techniques and activities that enhance the parent-child bond and encourages mutual understanding.
This course, called Child-Parent Relationship Therapy (CPR-T), instructs parents how to conduct weekly play sessions with your child. Over the course of 10 weeks, parents learn how to appropriately respond to children, how to encourage self-esteem and responsibility, how to set limits, how to communicate more effectively, and how to express love and respect to children during the special play time. With practice and understanding, these techniques will carry over into everyday interactions and will create a healthy and effective child-parent relationship.
