About Brenna Hicks, M.A.
Brenna Hicks, MA, IMH 5645 is a private practice children's therapist in Pinellas County, Florida who is committed to helping children discover how to achieve what is best for their lives. Fully believing that children know and understand how to locate their source of healing, Brenna integrates age-appropriate empathy with clinical skills to allow her clients the opportunity to develop problem solving skills, master troubing situations, express and explore their values, and to move toward wholeness.
Brenna works from a child-centered model, helping children achieve emotional health and happiness in their own manner and time. She is a supervised, registered Mental Health Counselor Intern currently working toward the number of hours required by the state to become a licensed mental health counselor and a registered play therapist.
Brenna also offers Child-Parent Relationship Training (CPR-T), which teaches and encourages parents to implement a child-centered method of raising children in their homes. This parent training is offered in individual or group settings, and enhances the work that Brenna does in the playroom.
